Why Early Access?

At Bossa we take great pride in working closely with you to shape the direction of our games and Decksplash will be no exception. Early Access was a huge part of what made 'I am Bread' a success and is part of our studios' DNA. Early Access allows us to work together with you to make the best game we possibly can - together.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

We have an idea of where want the game to go but we want to work with you, our players, to shape the final product. We’ll leave Early Access when we feel the game we’ve created together has the right feature set for a full launch!

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

Our initial focus on the Early Access version has been on getting the core gameplay feeling good. Our next priority is to deliver more content, features and longer term progression mechanics to create a more feature rich experience.

We will initially be focussing on adding the following features during Early Access:

  • More Arenas
  • More Decks

We will also be working with the community to find out what you want to be added and improved upon in Decksplash.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

The initial Early Access version is a polished, compact version of the final game. We have focused on ensuring the core gameplay experience - this means we've worked hard to get the tricks and competitive gameplay feeling as good as we can make it, before getting your valuable feedback.

From there we plan to move onto the new features outlined above.

However, as Decksplash is in an Alpha state you may experience bugs and there may be some performance issues, as we optimise the game for as many systems as possible. We would be grateful for your feedback on any issues that you experience, as this will help improve the experience!

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

As the game grows and we add content the price will be reviewed and will likely be higher when we launch the full version of the game and leave Early Access.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

As with all our titles, we want to work as closely as we can with the community during the development of Decksplash. From getting your feedback on bugs to finding out what features are most important to you, we really need you to be involved.
